The earphones are cheap but that seems to make sense to me. Many of my initial complaints of the device were resolved by either getting to know the device more, or by the latest firmware. Overall Review: Most of my complaints would not be a problem for me if I just listened to music. I can't add files to the device unless I'm at home or carry the cable with me everywhere. I don't understand why they couldn't just use a standard mini USB connection. Might not be a problem for most since you could then play MP3s off your computer, but for me, I listen at work and can't play mp3s off the PC, so I can't charge it and listen at the same time. With about 8GB of audio it takes up to 3 minutes to refresh. It's had over a year of heavy travel and use, and is begging to flake. otherwise it may descide to charge itself instead of connecting. You realy need to turn it on before connecting to a computer if you want it to synk.
Overall Review: Don't use the radio function much, since I don't have reception at my desk. I've cleared it on occasion on the treadmill trying to skip to a particular song at the bottom of the list. The "Clear go list" oiption realy needs a confirm prompt. Sometimes it takes a while to switch track, especially when you skip a bunch in a row.
